About the Taylors

We are from North Salt Lake, Utah and have five children, two daughter-in-laws, a grandson, and a grand puppy.

We have been married for 28 years.  We met at BYU when President Taylor was a junior and Sister Taylor was in graduate school.  He graduated with a bachelor's degree and she graduated with two master's degrees.  Then Sister Taylor supported President Taylor through three years of law school by working as a medical social worker.  After that, Sister Taylor stayed home and worked at raising a family while President Taylor worked as a corporate attorney for 24 years.  He was a partner at Dorsey & Whitney until June 2010.  President Taylor has served as a Bishop, Young Single Adult Branch President, High Councilor, Young Men's President, Elder's Quorum President, and Stake Missionary Prep Instructor.  He also served as a full-time missionary in the Belgium Antwerp Mission from 1978-1980.  Sister Taylor has served as a Relief Society President, Young Women's Presdient, Primary President, Stake Relief Society Counselor, Stake Music Chairman, and Ward Music Chairman and Choir Director.

Our oldest child is Chase.  He has been married for almost four years to Leah and they have a five month old baby boy named Beck and a cute dog named Penny.  Chase and Leah both graduated from Utah State University and they live and work in Salt Lake City.

Our second child is Lincoln.  He was married to Jalene three weeks before we came to Oklahoma.  Lincoln attends the University of Utah and Jalene just graduated from Utah State University.

Our third child is Abigail--our only daughter.  She is a sophomore in college, works in Salt Lake City, and will be visiting Oklahoma City as often as possible.  The love of her life right now is her nephew, Beck.

Our fourth child is Preston.  He will be a sophomore in high school and will be living in Oklahoma with us.  He will be learning to drive, singing and getting ready to date.

Our fifth child is Quinn.  He will be a freshman in high school will also be living in Oklahoma with us.  He enjoys playing football, basketball, and the guitar.

We are excited to be serving in the Oklahoma Oklahoma City Mission.  Our family is very excited for us as well and is very supportive.  We look forward to getting to know the missionaries in the mission and building on the wonderful work done by those missionaries who came before us.
